Notice of Termination (NOT)

Stormwater Compliance Specialists, Inc. prepares the Notice of Termination (NOT) upon the completion of all construction activities on the project site. A construction project is considered complete only when all portions of the site have been transferred to a new owner; or the following conditions have been met:

• All construction activity stopped – there is no potential for construction-related storm water pollution.
• All elements of the SWPPP have been completed.
• Construction material and waste have been disposed of properly.
• Post-construction storm water management plan is in place as described by the SWPPP
• The site is in compliance with Local Requirements
• Disturbed areas are covered in permanent grass or returned to their natural state

When all requirements have been met, the NOT (Notice of Termination) and all other necessary documents can be filed. Stormwater Compliance Specialists maintains these closure documents for a period of three (3) years as per California State requirements.
