Inspections

Effective monitoring of a construction or industrial site is a key element to maintaining compliance with both state and municipal requirements for storm water and air quality. Working In consultation with our clients, Stormwater Compliance Specialists Inc. develops an inspection program that best meets the needs of each specific site throughout the life of the project. Inspection frequency is based on various, site specific-conditions, such as phase of construction, state and local guidelines, environmental conditions (i.e., before and after rain events) client specifications, and/or site locations. In addition to data collection, regular inspections allow us to mitigate changes in site conditions before a potential discharge could occur.

By law, inspection documentation must be maintained and kept on-site with the SWPPP for a period of three years. Stormwater Compliance Specialists Inc., maintains inspection records for the minimum period as well, in the unfortunate event that document at the site should be lost or destroyed.
